St. Patrick’s Day Parades on The Northshore
Slidell St. Patrick's Day Parade
Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 1 p.m.
Slidell celebrates throughout Olde Towne with its 49th annual parade of floats, marching groups, bands and more. Bring shopping baskets and bags, because 40 floats will be throwing the usual beads and trinkets, but also, thousands of heads of cabbage, onions, potatoes, celery and carrots--everything for an Irish stew.
Lots of eateries and bars will have special foods and drinks for the day, including Olde Towne Pizza Company with their decadent Shamrock Shooter, and the Brass Monkey Draught Emporium, serving frozen Irish coffee, green beer and more. They open early and have live music after the parade, too.
