Northshore Parades: Mardi Gras 2025 in St. Tammany
Around the world, Louisiana is known for Mardi Gras and the parades and parties that accompany the occasion. The Carnival momentum kicks off on January 6, (known as Three Kings Day, or Twelfth Night or the Epiphany) and continues through the weekend after Mardi Gras Day with two fun dog parades. The Northshore parades are "Gee-rated" with an emphasis on family-fun entertainment. Parade-goers participate in the celebration by dressing in costume to match the Krewe's chosen theme (or creating one of their own.) It's Mardi Gras! Check out the Northshore parade schedule, catch the spirit and you'll score some throws at parades in Slidell, Covington, Mandeville and other local communities on The Northshore.
